As a part of Duravant, Mespack is committed to “doing good” for our community and environment. We actively support the communities in which we operate through the program, Duravant Doing Good; being a good corporate citizen and socially responsible members of our communities is a vital part of our culture.
Wirh the objective of making a difference, the program emphasizes educational contributions, social programs, environmental responsibility, (through waste and pollution reduction processes), philanthropic support, community volunteer programs, and employee empowerment.
One of our beneficiaries, Fundación Grupo SIFU, a non-profit organization that strives to promote and encourage social integration and labor market insertion of disabled and special needs people. With more than 10 years of activity, Fundación Grupo SIFU was created from the experience of Grupo SIFU as a special employment center for labor insertion.
Recently, at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the foundation held the most inclusive gala in Europe, the La Gala Más IN. It was a night of show, music, and dance, which gave visibility to the capabilities of people with functional diversity and promoting their full inclusion.
In the performance, artists, with and without disabilities, graced the stage to highlight and make their abilities visible. The INtegration, INclusion, and INterpretation gala continues to fill the best stages of Spain, while tearing down stereotypes and demonstrating that art and talent have no limits.
Our collaboration with Fundación Grupo SIFU allowed some of Mespack’s employees to attend the gala; they were impressed with this show of self-improvement.
