With Restore, you are able to not only measure the total tons of CO₂ emissions across your packaging line, using the Carbon Footprint Calculator, but also to access certified solutions to offset your footprint. These programs are coordinated and validated by Global Factor, a leading sustainability consultancy, thus ensuring that every compensation project meets international standards. Participation is recognized through Verra-certified projects, which guarantee transparency and credibility.
How the Carbon Footprint Calculator Works
With the Carbon Footprint Calculator, each client can input the specific details of their Mespack machine and packaging materials. With the calculator, Mespack provides a precise estimate of the total CO₂ emissions generated, covering both the manufacturing phase of the machine and its entire operational life.
How does it work?

- Personalized Input: Enter your machine model, packaging material types, system of sealing and if you are doing a certain maintenance in your machine.
- Comprehensive Simulation: The simulator analyzes these inputs to determine the percentage of savings you can achieve depending on each decision.
- Request for a Customized CO2 Calculation: Mespack will report showing the total tons of CO₂ generated, helping you identify areas for improvement and take targeted action. This specific calculation will be performed upon your request, provided it is included with a concrete Mespack offer.
- Certified Offsetting: Once you know your footprint, you can access certified solutions to offset your emissions, ensuring your sustainability efforts are measurable and credible.

These projects include initiatives such as reforestation, renewable energy development, and community-based sustainability programs, all of which are verified under the Verra standard, one of the most respected frameworks for carbon offsetting worldwide.
