Aiming to consolidate its market share in Latin America and find new business opportunities in the Americas, the manufacturer of flexible packaging machinery, Mespack, will make its first appearance at EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2019 on 11-13 June. The exhibition will be the largest in its history and will feature over 15,000 square metres of packaging and processing solutions for the food, pharmaceutical products, personal care, household chemicals, automotive and electronics industries, among others.
“Mexico is currently seeing new investments and is a market that is experiencing significant growth in certain segments, so our presence in the showroom is essential”, explains Santi Alberich, Marketing Director of the company. In a further demonstration of its clear commitment to the market, the company of Duravant Group will attend the event with a stand that, as Alberich highlights, will be larger than the one that was brought to last year’s EXPO PACK Mexico: “We will have more space of our own where we can interact with our customers to learn first-hand about new trends and business opportunities on site, as well as display the complete range of flexible packaging solutions we’re putting up against the competition”, he adds.
Consolidating the small format
Currently, Mespack already has a large installed base of machines all over the Americas, which stand out for their high reliability and durability, elevated efficiency (minimum 96% guaranteed), for having local technical service and being operator friendly (“facilitating their handling and maintenance by any operator”, affirms the company’s Marketing Director). Nevertheless, after incorporating 9 more machines into its installed base in 2018, the flexible packaging solutions manufacturer wants to go one step further and consolidate its strength in the small format segment (coffee, sauces and detergents), where it already has a strong presence. To do so, among other innovations, Alberich points out that they are working on important improvements in terms of functionality of the equipment screens, “and we have already made great progress in incorporating IIoT technology into our solutions,” he states. Those who visit their stand at the event in Mexico will be able to see this first-hand.
