One of our most recent turnkey achievements was developed for a leading European company in the Home Care sector. This comprehensive project demonstrates how Mespack transforms complex packaging challenges into streamlined, fully connected solutions: from the production of water-soluble pods to filling stand-up pouches and completing end-of-line operations.

A Fully Integrated Line: From Pods to Pallets

This end-to-end solution covers the entire packaging journey, from producing water-soluble capsules to palletizing. The result: a streamlined, high-performance line that ensures productivity, flexibility, and premium packaging quality.

1. Hydroforma Flat Bed

At the heart of this project lies our Hydroforma Flat Bed, a state-of-the-art equipment that is capable of producing up to 1,400 pods per minute. Each pod was designed for this customer with three cavities: one powder and two different liquids. The machine is scalable for up to five cavities, thus enabling endless product innovation and adaptability. This versatility not only allows our customer to launch new SKUs quickly, but also combine liquids and powders in a single pod.

2. H320 Horizontal Form-Fill-Seal

Once produced, the pods are packed with the H320, which delivers 44 pods per pouch at speeds of up to 50 cycles per minute. Sustainability was a key requirement, and the H320 runs with recyclable mono-material film, which ensures eco-friendly packaging without compromising performance. With quick format changeovers and an excellent finish quality, this solution provides both flexibility and premium results.

3. W7001 Case Packer

For secondary packaging, the W7001 was integrated to group stand-up pouches in sets of eight. Within a remarkably compact footprint of just 20 sqm, it offers multiple display-ready packaging formats, such as lids with internal or external flaps, trays, or wrap-around displays. Producing 20 boxes per minute, the W7001 combines productivity with efficiency, hence optimizing space and resources.

4. Palletizer

Finally, the line seamlessly connects to a robotic palletizer, ensuring that the process from pods to pallets is not only efficient, but also fully automated, harmonized, and digitalized. As a result, a fully integrated process that takes the product from capsule to distribution-ready pallet is created.
