The collaboration gives Mespack closer proximity to regional manufacturers that design smart equipment
Mespack has recently entered into a collaboration agreement with Mert Teknik; the company will be the commercial representation of Mespack in Turkey. The alliance will allow Mespack to strengthen its presence of in the country and to be in close proximity to local manufacturers, thus enabling the companies accomplish their goals.
Mespack has the largest product portfolio of the industry, offering horizontal (roll-stock, pre-made and hybrid) and vertical equipment for the worldwide production of sachets, stick packs, stand-up pouches, water soluble pods, various film-based packaging, and end-of-line solutions with premium services.
Since 1987, Mert Teknik has been offering project management, consultancy, sales, and after sales services in the field of packaging machines and product inspection systems. The company serves as the distributor and representative of Turkey for the leading international manufacturers within their respective field. These aspects have been instrumental in giving the green light to the Mespack-Mert Teknik collaboration, in which both companies have high expectations and believe in its potential to offer the best solutions to companies.
As expressed by Santi Alberich, the Area Sales Manager for Turkey at Mespack, “the approach of this collaboration is completely customer-oriented and strives to introduce our high-tech smart and customized machinery to companies that manufacture fast-moving consumer goods, in accordance with international standards”.
From the perspective of Mert Teknik, the company’s General Director, Halis Kudat, affirms that “as a result of the strong market knowledge of our team and Mespack’s expertise in developing optimal packaging equipment, we will be able to rapidly strengthen our presence in the area, thus providing exceptional support and establishing solid relations with existing and potential regional customers”.
Owing to this joint effort, Mespack will make its broad portfolio of flexible packaging machinery more accessible to the Turkish business community, which is especially fundamental for Mespack, particularly in regard to the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, home care, personal care and pet food industries. Furthermore, the new Mespack-Mert Teknik collaboration will serve to extend the knowledge within the market, regarding state-of-the-art machines designed to operate with recyclable materials, in order to achieve an effective transition from rigid packaging or flexible non-recyclable packaging to recyclable ready, recycled, biodegradable or compostable materials. This will be realized while closely working with key partners of the market, such as Amcor, Dow, Mondi, among others.
