Mespack Innovation Center: test your packaging material before you invest
Run your own films and pouch formats on production-scale Mespack machines, side by side with our engineers.
What is the Mespack Innovation Center?
The Mespack Innovation Center (MIC) in Barcelona is where brand owners, material suppliers and packaging experts test and validate new flexible packaging solutions on real production equipment. From HFFS and VFFS to water-soluble pods, cartoners and end-of-line systems, customers can run packaging trials, validate sustainable materials and optimize performance without disrupting their own production lines.
Controlled environment
A dedicated space to test packaging technologies with expert Mespack technicians. We sign an NDA before we share any confidential data.
Your own materials
Bring your film structures and formats, including recyclable and sustainable materials, and we will test them.
Joint development
Work with our specialists to adjust parameters and validate performance under real conditions.

The advantages of developing a project at the MIC
Try new pouch shapes, sizes and closures on real machines before committing to a production line.
Run trials with your real liquid or powder product to check dosing, filling and sealing.
Under real production conditions, we rigorously test alternative films, zippers, spouts, and materials to ensure that operational, environmental, and regulatory standards are met, leading to regulatory and operational compliance.
Produce pilot batches for market tests and fine-tune machine parameters before scaling up.
Every trial follows the same test protocol, so results can be compared between materials, formats and suppliers.
Your team, your material suppliers and Mespack engineers work side by side on the same machine.
Every project runs under NDA: your materials, formats and results stay yours.
Trials run at the MIC, so your own lines keep producing while you develop the next format.
